Paris Air Show – A380 Star of this year’s Paris Air Show has got to be the Airbus 380. Up close it is an impressive plane. At times in flight it looks like it is moving too slowly. Also impressive is how quiet it is. As it flew by in approach configuration, most of the noise appeared to be aerodynamic noise from the airframe, not the engines. Our hangar is right alongside the taxiway and we were able to get up close and personal with the A380. Watch out for that Winglet!
