Seasonal Comfort has been open since For 3 generations of business the company has remained with the same family. Today it is the grandsons of J.A. Maki and the sons and nephew of J.E. Maki, Julius R. Maki, Norman E. Maki and Clayton P. Wood who have committed their entire careers to providing quality service support for the dealers, distributors, and manufacturers of premium appliances from here in America and abroad. Our commitment to excellence, hard work and strong sense of family has allowed us to survive 6 decades of good times and bad.

We provide top service to top brand manufacturers like Viking, Asko, Bosch, Wolf, etc. We offer visits to your home at a cost of $ (including full diagnosis), and the $ is good for 30 days after the initial visit. If parts are needed for the repair, than we come back at a later time with a part. Then the price for the part and labor is added to the bill. If your covered under warranty, you don’t have to pay anything. These visits include repair, annual maintenance, and recall repair.

Our commitment to excellence, hard work and strong sense of family has allowed us to survive 6 decades of good times and bad. Maintaining these high standards has garnered us the respect of our peers, the trust of the of the manufacturers and dealers and the repeat business and word of mouth following of you our valued customers. We thank all of you who are past and current customers. For those who are new to us and are looking for a service company you can trust we would like to pledge to you that we will do our best to earn your trust and be worthy of your repeat business and your recommendation to others.

We are located at: 248 Garrotsville st. Houston, Tx 77022

At Seasonal Comfort we have 16 active employees. There are 7 field technicians and 1 technician assistant. Then there are 8 people working in the office.

 A technician assistant works alongside other certified technicians in the field.  Technicians Job is to correctly and professionally diagnose and repair the appliances we represent.  The job requirements are to have 2 years of field experience and very good people skills to make our service the most valuable there is in the industry.  We try to excel at everything we do for all the manufactures and our customers, so top trained, hardworking individuals are the people we search for.

The day is very busy, just like any other high demand industry. We as the technicians come into the office early in the morning around 6 a.m. and we receive our paperwork and see what our jobs are like for the day. We then proceed to the warehouse to get the needed parts, if necessary. At that point, we head out and start the day. But for my personal day goes as follows: I get to the office and see what technician I have to meet, I then call that technician to get the timeframes of estimated arrival. Then if I have no parts to take, I head out to those calls.

The president of Seasonal Comfort co., Inc. is Richard Maki. Richard Maki is a Co-owner, alongside Norman Maki and Paul Wood. Richard acts as president as well as a service technician. He performs the same job tasks but leaves the office at a later time in order to take care of the other business needed to run a successful company.

My favorite on the job experience is when someone randomly came up to my van when I was parked at a parts store (I was in the marked van). This gentleman asked some questions, I surprisingly answered his questions. It was special because I have never really one on one talked with a potential customer like that before. I have learned to know what your doing. Because when your in a marked vehicle, people might stop to ask you a question. I defiantly will be learning more so that I may be better prepared for the next time this happens. I appreciate having this job. I know a lot of teens my age don’t have a good job. I was fortunate enough to be in a family business environment my whole life. Continued

My father as well as all of the employees have made me work hard for what I get and what I do. At Seasonal Comfort, we work hard, and in a timely manner. And not one person has not let me know this from the start.

The greatest thing I appreciate is like what I mentioned in the previous slides; I just appreciate being able to have a job in a growing industry. My job provides me a lot of opportunities to excel and move up in what I do. And for that, I'm very thankful.
