Boreal(taiga) Forest By Nicolas de Levay

Boreal Forest location Boreal Forest are located in Canada, Russian, Sweden, Norway and Finland. As you can see Boreal Forests are also located in cold environments around the world. the Taiga forest is one of the biggest forests in the world.

Temperature The Average temperature in the Boreal forest in winter is around negative 54 degrees Celsius to negative 1 degree Celsius Summer time in the Taiga is around 21 degrees Celsius the lowest it can get is negative 7 degrees Celsius forest are short and cold.

Biotic Animals 1 Grizzly bear: Grizzly bears have fur So they can adapted to cold weather very easily and can use their fur from being warm. Grizzly bears are like brown bears. Porcupine: As you can see in the picture the porcupine is an animal that has black fur or skin. If it is sunny the porcupine can get more heat then any other animal. Many species live in the giant sequoia the tree can adapt to strong snowy winds because it is big and strong to take down.

How Humans Affected this Biome? Humans have effected this biome by polluting the earth and wasting energy. and by chopping down trees. By Polluting it changes temperature due to global warming. And Hunting because it can affect the food chain. Humans have effected this biome by polluting the earth and wasting energy. and by chopping down trees. What can Be done to fix It? We stop wasting energy and saving energy so it would not effect the taiga forests that much and stop cutting down trees because then the animals living in those trees would have to find somewhere else to live and finally to stop hunting because it can affect the food chain.
