And finally … … We increasingly work with ‘hard to place’ individuals, the time spent may not result in them actually going on to volunteer right now. However, the very act of coming in to see us will be of benefit in the general confidence building/recovery process for that individual. If we are only judged by ‘successful outcome and placements’, those scenarios do not count. The person may go on to volunteer at a later date but the Volunteer Centre may not be kept updated with this information.
