Presentation transcript:

City of Yathrib In Yathrib Islam began to flourish. The people accepted Muhammad pbuh as their leader and king. Muhammad pbuh established all laws, and settled all disputes according to the teachings of Quran. These teachings united people under his rule and authority.

Gradually the city of Yathrib became known as Madinah Tun Nabi, which means 'The City of the Prophet.' Madinah Tun Nabi

After his migration to Medinah, the enemies of Islam increased their attacks from all sides. The Battles of Badr, Uhud and Trench were fought near or around Medinah. In these battles, the nonbelievers attacked the Prophet and Muslim community. Many delegations from all regions of Arabia came to the Prophet to learn the teachings of Islam, and a large number of people accepted Islam within a couple of years.
