Juçari Trip Learning about the Community Service Experience

Hello everyone! Are you guys ready to learn about the Juçari village and how we are helping make it a better place? Well then, get ready ‘cause here we go!

PASB students are passing a ball to one another to introduce themselves by saying their names and what they like to do. The Juçari students also talked a little bit about themselves.

While Tainho has the ball and is telling us his name, the other students are carefully watching what he has to say.

PASB students are reading short stories to the small children using books brought from Salvador

Gathered on the floor in a circle, the students from Juçari listen to another short story with 3-D pictures.

After having read the stories, the children now start to draw their favorite part on a sheet of paper.

Others are asked to build, using colored clay, their favorite character from the fairy tale.

A capoeira class was presented to the Juçari students.

PASB students, Juçari students and even teachers sit down to watch the amazing capoeira presentation.

Teacher Lucho and the PASB student Eduardo try to play some capoeira.

Soon, the children also decide to join the fun sport and play some capoeira.

The kids are in a line waiting for the race to start. Here, each one has to run, but cannot let the egg on the spoon fall on the ground.

Juçari students play and have some fun with the toys donated by the PASB students.

Eduardo and other PASB students talk a little bit about their community service project in a local radio station.

The Juçari school presents the PASB group with a thank-you banner.
