When, and Who made it?  Armillary Sphere was invented around 117 A.D.  Eastern Han Dynasty was ruling China.  Zhang Heng made it.  Emperor Andi was ruling China during that time.

What was the purpose of Armillary Sphere?  The purpose of Armillary Sphere was to know the time.  It showed the time by showing the where the sun, moon, and stars are in at each time.

How did it made ancient Chinese people’s life better?  It made Ancient Chinese people’s life better by telling the accurate date to spread seeds. It also told date and time. *Remember that 90% of people in Han is peasants.

How were things done before the invention?  Before it was invented they looked at the Sun, moon, and stars by there eyes, but it wasn’t as exact as using Armillary Sphere.

How are we still getting affected by it?  We got more information about the space, and got better about space.

Some Interesting Facts  It was made by wrong thinking about space, but it actually helped Ancient Chinese!  It’s the small model of how they thought about space.  There are seven holes in the Armillary Sphere.
