COMENIUS MULTILATERAL PARTNERSHIP “GETTING ALONG IN EUROPE” GERMANY ITALY SWEDEN ROMANIA SPAIN PORTUGAL GREECE SWEDEN 11 TH.-16 TH. DECEMBER 2011 To know and understand what bullying is and why we must work together to stop it.

 Bullying includes teasing, calling someone names, threatening or harassing them.  Ignoring and excluding a child from friendship groups is also a form of bullying.

 At School  At Home  At Work  Mobile and Cyber Bullying

 Tell a teacher  Tell your parents  Keep a diary so that you can give a teacher a reliable account of what has been happening

 You call them names  You make up stories to get them into trouble  You hit them, kick them, trip them up or push them around  You take away their possessions or demand money from them

 You damage their property  You make threats about nasty things that will happen to them  You make remarks about them liking other boys or other girls. This is called homophobic bullying

 A good first step is to tell someone else about it.  Take note of every bullying experience you’ve been through  If you ignore their messages and don't give them a reaction then there’s more chance they’ll get bored and stop.

 Go with the person being bullied and back up what they say to the teacher  Make an anti-bullying poster to display in our school, with pictures and advices, to help spreading the fight against bullying
