Our Values At Baby Steps Learning Center our mission is to ensure that each family is provided with a safe, happy, healthy environment where each child is given the opportunity to grow in an intellectually, emotionally and physically in a rewarding environment. You have many choices when deciding on your childcare provider but, our values and curriculum will make Baby Steps the obvious choice for your family.

Our Curriculum The Baby Steps curriculum will allow your child to develop a positive relationship with learning and play. Each child will be able to express themselves and through language, art and music and play. Our faculty will encourage your child to learn about the different people, places and their environment.

Our Weekly Activities ❏ Music Mondays-We believe that a musical education will aid in your child’s development. Your child will have the opportunity to sing and play instruments from a talent group of music professionals. ❏ Teamwork Tuesday-We believe that we are part of a bigger world and will encourage your child to build relationships with others in order to accomplish their goals. ❏ Wellness Wednesday-We focus on physical health so that you child grows up safe and strong. Your child will get a chance to learn about nutritious and delicious foods and their benefits. ❏ Thankful Thursday-We believe in giving back and teaching our children to be children for others. We will work together to ensure that your child learns the importance of caring for others. ❏ Fun Day Friday-We believe that hard work should be reward and so we will reward hard work with adventures and different creative activities. OUr Faculty & Staff Baby Steps Learning Center is staffed by a dedicated team of instructors. Our staff are certified through Maryland State Department of Education. Get to know our wonderful and experienced staff. All of our instructors are devoted to complete child care for children of all ages. You can rest easy knowing your child is in the best hands with us.

OUr Co-Directors Hello, my name is Chanel Harrison and I am one of the co-directors at Baby Steps Learning Center. My goal is to meet the needs of every child and family that has been kind enough to allow Baby Steps to be apart of their growth. I have a passion for children, I find true joy in helping others. Hola, my name is Giuliana Valencia-Banks and I am one of the co-directors of Baby Steps Learning Center. I value the opportunity to be part of your child’s early education. I’m a firm believer that if one aspect of our being is off balance than we will not be completely happy and I will strive to make sure your child always feels happy and complete.
