Noun/Adjective Agreement:Gender Adjectives are used to describe nouns Most adjectives change form, depending upon whether the word they describe is masculine or feminine. The correct form of the adjective depends upon the noun it describes. First ask: Is the noun masculine or feminine? (noun)(adj.) Noun/Adjective Agreement:Number Adjectives also change form depending upon whether the word they modify is singular or plural. Next ask: Is the noun plural or singular? el gato gordo los gatos gordos la chica alta las chicas altas

Noun/Adjective Agreement: Order The order of the noun and adjective is different than in English. It is flipped. First comes the Noun and then comes the Adjective Casa blanca Camisa negra

Other common rules Adjectives that end in -e do not change to “o” or “a”. They only change to plural. To form the plural, simply add -s. la chica inteligente las chicas inteligentes
