The aim of this unit is to look how it is managed the recovery of cultural heritage after catastrophic events (such as earthquakes, floods and ISIS). Our unit is also responsible for finding information on the use of new technologies in the cultural sphere (smart glasses and smart museum).

The cultural heritage is currently under attack from the militant group Islamic state of Iraq and Syria (ISIS),as in the case the fully destruction of Nimrud, of Mosul Museum together with Nabi Yunus Shrine, Tal Afar Citadel in Iraq.
