Managing Publications for the NIH Biosketch: Frequently Asked Questions

Managing Publications Q - The investigator has program projects or training grants, and the Bibliography contains publication citations from other authors. How can I adjust the Bibliography to include only the investigator’s authored publications? A - Move the publications from “My Bibliography” to “Other Citations”; or Copy publications to a New Collection and delete from “My Bibliography”.

Recommendations Be Proactive! Monitor and manage publications in My Bibliography on a regular basis. Be Proactive! Communicate to subrecipients and collaborators to ensure they understand Public Access Policy Requirements. Take Action! Update My Bibliography as soon as an article is accepted for publication. Delegate! Investigators may not have time to properly manage the Bibliography - Be sure to select a trusted delegate! Create a Basic Biosketch – adjust specifics as needed. Use SciENcv!
