Twitter Accounts 4 Brands Wachovia and H&R Block By: Trey Moore

General Messages Wachovia: No general messages are tweeted. H&R Block: Pushed messages on people : They offered very helpful tax insights. For example one tweet read: “Do you spend a lot of money on your hobby? It might be time to make it into a business. Find out if it qualifies!”

Conversation Wachovia: was strictly interaction with the customers and their issues. Their twitter account focuses more on helping customers or people who have issues or questions. H&R: Block: Has more of a personality in their tweets. They talked in true 1 st person. For example one tweet read “Thanks for the props” this gives the followers more of a personal feel for the company rather than a business feel.

Reflection Wachovia: The twitter page is more of a customer service ask box. They only respond to tweets from Monday-Friday 9am to 5pm. H&R Block: Seems to answer questions in a friendly manner as though you are talking to your uncle who does taxes rather than a cooperation.

Final Thoughts Wachovia's twitter account was just okay for me…It was very generic. H&R block: their tactics are very good. My only issue is that they don’t tweet often and sometimes they don’t tweet everyday.
