Education goals of this project More suitable education To bring more knowledge into the school about extra care and education for children with problems Less children to the special primary schools Specialized teachers at every regular primary school

For whom? For all pupils in the primary school with learning problems or behavioral problems. Children with more severe physical, sensory or mental handicaps are not included in “going to school together”.

The organization Cooperation between primary schools and 1 special primary school sharing the budget The plan’s slogan is: More expertise to the primary school

The budget 260 million euro every year for the project “Going to school together” More than 92% of the money is returned for spending at special primary schools 19 million euro goes to primary schools each year

PCL Permanent Commission of Inclusion Every cooperation of schools has its own Commission of Inclusion for the pupils PCL gives advise: Is it necessary for a child to go to a special primary school?

Backpack What is a backpack? Why an allowance for handicapped children? When does a child get a backpack?

What is a backpack? Pupil-specific allowance Budget for handicapped children provided by the government This money can be spent on a regular primary school for special equipment

Why an allowance for handicapped children? Parents can choose how to spend the extra money for their handicapped child In regular primary schools the budget goes to extra needs, special teachers and materials

When does a child get a backpack? A backpack is for handicapped children who can and would like to stay at the primary school
