Mission of the NOYC Increase the number of quality options for Opportunity Youth through improved data, accountability systems, and collaboration.

NOYC Goals  Comprehensive Data Repository of student performance data and related information  Improved Accountability Practices built around Mutually Agreed-upon, Rigorous Accountability plans  Improved Public Policy at state and local levels

Data & Information Repository Phases of Development and the Corresponding User Interactions within the Data Repository Phase-User InteractionTypes of Data National Alternative Accountability Policy Landscape School Characteristics, Mission, Demographics Student & School Performance data Phase 1-Review Users can view a repository of documents on relevant state and authorizer systems. Users can search for schools by mission, student population, etc. Users can view documents from research and practice with other schools and authorizers. Phase 2- Aggregate Users will have access to a number of reports comparing state level data alongside state policy features Users will have access to a number of comparative school-level data analysis based on school features. Users will have access to aggregated student performance data based on specific measures for the most commonly used assessments. Phase 3- Analyze Users will be able to analyze school performance data allowing them to see how similar schools perform, or how schools in states with specific policy features perform— integrating all three types of data into one analytic system, with visual, interactive outputs.
