 This works mainly due to induction principle but at resonant frequency maximum of the power is transferred.

 The coil parameters are to be designed in such a way that when they are operated at resonant frequency maximum of power is transferred.

 Inductance of the coil can be calculated by the formulae  Radius in inches  Length in inches  Inductance in micro henry

Capacitance of the coil can be found by using C = [0.1126(ℓ/D) √(D/ℓ )] D Capacitance in pico-farads L- length in cm D-diameter in cm Note: parameters can be calculated by using LCR meter.
