Training  Required training will be provided by role or job responsibility  Each training will be provided through the Professional Development Management System (PDMS) as online Blackboard courses  Each module will provide some form of assessment or assignment for completion  Modules will be developed in-house by Office of Assessment 27

Training Schedule Phases 29 Training Phase Phase Description Phase A Training will be provided for all practice and pretests released in August and September. This will be the release of previous DCAS manuals and abbreviated training for all individuals who are administering the pretests. Phase B Includes all materials and information that need to be developed and ready for the interim and block assessments scheduled to be released in November. This training will include TA training, security, and development of supporting documentation. This also contains training for the release of the DCAS End-of- Course assessments in January. Phase C Supports the go-live for the spring assessment window that contains the majority of all required assessments to be administered in the state. This includes DCAS, DCAS-Alt1, and Smarter assessments. Includes all required training to administer, report, and review all aspects associated with each assessment.
