Learning Intentions  I will revise some of the main aspects of character, theme and plot.  I will learn how to structure a response to the eight mark mini- essay.

Success Criteria  I can complete a quiz to demonstrate what I’ve learned so far about the play and questions.  I can learn from a model answer, taking notes on the necessary steps.  I can reorder a partial answer to complete the structure of an eight mark mini essay.  I can write my own eight mark answer, being considerate of timing.

Question 1 Alec develops significantly as the play progresses. Mention four ways in which he does so.

How did you do?  9-10 You’re well on your way to Textual Analysis success!!  7-8 Well done! Keep looking over your notes and think about how to answer specific question types.  5-6Not bad. You’ve done enough to pass, but you definitely need to revise some more. It would be an idea to memorise some quotes.  3-4Room for improvement - you need to hit the books and get revising the play, thinking about themes.  1-2Oh dear…. There’s a lot still to learn. Go back to basics and start with character and plot.
