“Like the body that is made up of different limbs and organs, all moral creatures must depend on each other to exist.” - Hindu proverb

“ Civility is the symbol of prosperity.”

"In a time of social fragmentation, vulgarity becomes a way of life. To be shocking becomes more important — and often more profitable — than to be civil or creative or truly original.’’ - Al Gore, politician and U.S. vice president

“Everyone is heard, not judged…”

“Be civil to all, sociable to many, familiar with few, friend to one, enemy to none.” - Benjamin Franklin

“ Treating others as I wish to be treated.”

“ We are all angels with only one wing. We can only fly while embracing each other.” - Luciano de Crescenzo, Italian writer

“ Civility is speaking to someone verbally and non-verbally, in the same manner you would expect to be treated yourself in the same situation.”

" It is in the shelter of each other that people live." - Irish proverb

“ Being respectful toward others who may disagree with you.”

“Show not yourself glad at the misfortune of another though he were your enemy.” - George Washington

“Be nice, pleasant, smile and think the other person is you…now imagine how you would present yourself to yourself.”

"The true measure of an individual is how he treats a person who can do him absolutely no good.“ - Ann Landers

“Unity and compassion to all.” “Civility, to me, means being good to others to make the world a better place.” “Being responsible for ones actions.”

“ Ang pagiging magalang ay mahalaga sa bawat wika” “ Civility is showing respect for everyone, appreciating differences and learning from it.” “ Civility has its essence as being courteous and rightful.”

“Civility is the basis of Civilization.”
