Focus Work-based Learning SURF Courses – mainly FDs Supporting the tutor / employer and mentor as well as the learner Generic WBL Resources For use across SURF For submission to JORUM (national repository)JORUM

Creating Materials Issues: –Getting Materials –Employer Access to materials Original Content –Standard Microsoft Tools New Content –CourseGenie, Reload, eXe and Dreamweaver

Why those tools? CourseGenie and eXe both will easily turn standard documents into both HTML and IMS standard materials, eXe is also OpenSource Dreamweaver has been used to enhance the HTML and allow extra interactivity to be included in some learning objects Reload has been used to package the files for JORUM

Accessibility Learning Objects have been created –in HTML, IMS and as standard documents –Style sheets –Limited interactivity
