2 Background TVWBLN is a group of 50 Learning Providers operating across Tees Valley providing training in Entry to Employment (e2e), Apprenticeships, Advanced Apprenticeships and Train 2 Gain. The Network worked in partnership with Aimhigher and the University of Teesside on an Admin Apprenticeship progression Programme 2007. The Network is building on this best practice with vocational learners and vocational progression working in partnership with the North East Higher Skills Network (NEHSN).

6 Key Achievements HE Modules - Leadership & Management 3 cohorts - Health & Social Care 1 cohort - Childcare 1 cohort - Engineering 1 cohort to be scheduled Engaged 53 Learners Engaged 22 Employers Module completion 1 st cohort – 71% passed / 7% failed - 14% re-submit / 7% did not submit - 71% progression to further HE

7 Case Study – Samantha Millward e2e programme at Redcar Cleveland College Gained NVQ Level 1 in Business Admin Progressed onto an Apprenticeship and obtained a work placement as an Apprentice Administrator Completed NVQ Level 2, Key Skills & Technical Certificate. Progressed onto Advanced Apprenticeship and was employed as a Contract Administrator. Progressed to Administration Assistant to the Director of Curriculum. Leadership & Management Module at the University of Teesside gaining 20 credits. Progress to Foundation degree.
