New Developments Journals These were given to service users that were in the process of leaving Brewer Street. This enabled them to keep a record of the process and their feelings throughout. We are in the process of collating completed Journals and recording information gathered. Community Base Working Group We have now formed the group and they will be working together link communities across bases, work to resolve any issues, network with internal and external organisations to improve and develop new opportunities. System Of Recording We have now designed and introduced and new system of recording aims, progress and outcomes for each individual within the community bases. Staff and Service users at Rushall base are working with the Person Centred Planning Team to pilot the new paperwork, which will replace the existing care plans.

Community Base Information Booklet We have almost completed a Information booklet for each of the 7 bases. This booklet will provide information about Local history, How to get there, What’s within locality, Staffing structure, etc. These will be made initially be available to professionals/ persons either within our service or externally and will also be made available to people wishing to enter into our services New Developments

Service Update Community Base Update All Community Sites now are fully operational and going well. Feedback from bases that welcomed persons moving across from Brewer Street report that for most the transition has gone well and many are happy that they are able to access a wider range of activities and access the community more often. Bases are continuing to develop new activities and make links externally and internally to develop new opportunities. Snowy Weather We were very fortunate to still be able to remain operational during the recent spell of bad weather. This meant that although our in house transport was unable to operate during this time that we were still able to offer a service to all persons that were able to make their own way.
