Assessment Task Force Centers Program Assessment and Review Committee President Director of Institutional Research Academic Programs Faculty Assessment Council Chief Assessment Officer for Academic Affairs This presentation contains a draft of a model for the structure of the assessment of student learning outcomes at CSUCI. It is intended to show who is responsible for assessment activities and how those responsible for assessment activities relate to one another. The next slide shows the entire structure. This is followed by a series of annotated slides describing the role of each participant in the assessment structure.

This periodic review policy and process are currently under development and are scheduled for completion by the end of the AY.

Assessment Task Force Centers Program Assessment and Review Committee President Director of Institutional Research Academic Programs Faculty Assessment Council Chief Assessment Officer for Academic Affairs The CAO communicates with other divisions that assess student learning outcomes (for example, co- curricular activities in the Division of Student Affairs), and using the these assessments, as well as assessments conducted within the Division of Academic Affairs, coordinates the assessment of the baccalaureate.

Assessment Task Force Centers Program Assessment and Review Committee President Director of Institutional Research Academic Programs Faculty Assessment Council Chief Assessment Officer for Academic Affairs The Program Assessment and Review Committee (PARC) consists of faculty appointed for 2 year terms as program assessment officers. Faculty serving on PARC receive 6 units of reassigned time annually that can be taken in 1 semester or over 2 semesters.
