Europe 2015 ~144 Days until departure!

Where are we going? Paris, France Lausanne, Bern, & Lucerne, Switzerland Neuschwanstein, Munich, & Dachau Germany Prague, Czech Republic

What are you the most excited to see/do on the trip?

Passports If you have not applied/received your passport…panic now. Must have it on you at all times on the trip –Required: money belt to hold Passport

Travel Dates Hoping for a July 6 th departure We will with updated travel information as we get it from WorldStrides.

Medical Info Vital to have accurate info in case of emergency. Please be sure to list any food allergies or food preferences (ex. No fish!) – we will be sending this list for meal preferences. If you require prescription medication, be sure to bring copies of the script AND be sure to bring enough meds with you!!!!

conduct This is our contract, not WorldStrides’s. We are representing LC. We’ve never had a problem in the past and we don’t expect to have any issues.

Packing #1 – Passport #2 – Money belt #3 – VISA/Mastercard credit card #4 – watch #5 – you can buy everything else!

Tipping Tipping is not included in the WorldStrides price. We will need to tip our WorldStrides Guide, the bus drivers, and hired tour guides. ~$150/traveler – will collect this later –Any money not spent will be returned. –Make checks payable to Theresa Meyer – will not be cashed until early July. –You will receive a receipt.

Credit Cards Credit card MUST have Visa or Mastercard logo to work. Debit cards do not always work in Europe – check with your bank. We have not had luck with rechargeable / pre- paid credit cards. You are charged the exchange rate at the time of purchase.

Currency Exchange 1 Euro = $1.13 USD – lowest rate it has been in years! Credit cards automatically convert foreign funds on bill. Remember, if you are using a prepaid card, those funds were put on in dollars. $ should be adequate for spending money. Pays for food, souvenirs, extra attractions.

What Have You? Roommates – preferences? Never flown before? Need to sleep on way there. Tylenol PM? Dramamine? Bus seats/time occupiers Phonecards to call home European insects can be mean!!! Bring bug repellant!!!

What Have You? Leave your cell phones at HOME! Disconnect and LEARN. We discourage bringing high value items (IPad, jewelry, laptops, etc.) Do bring a camera – with extra memory cards.
