Student Teaching Completion Interview Shannon Barnson

Goals I must explore the sixth grade core curriculum and become more knowledgeable of some of the specific subject matter contained in the standards. Sharpen my classroom management skills. Become more comfortable and better with transitions when teaching lessons. Become better at being more explicit in instruction and communicating expectations to students. Learn as much as possible about the art of teaching.

My Mentor Great teacher. Gave great advice and guidance. Bit controlling. Personality could make it difficult for many student teachers.

Future Seminars I really can’t think of anything that you could add to future seminars. I think that these meetings may have actually saved my sanity at one point in my student teaching experience!
