Collaborative Process Theater by nature is a collaborative endeavor, so it is essential to work well as a team member. Begin by playing games, building a basic skill set, then working up to the framework of a show. Always encourage creativity and new ideas, but stress that, by the end of the process, one must stick to the set instructions of the director.

The Experience Overall, this process was exhausting, yet rewarding. I worked with a group of smart and talented children. I was able to observe teachers, professionals in their craft, guide students through a collaborative learning process of creating their own production. I gained knowledge in arts education that I will take with me in all future teaching endeavors.
