COMMON QUESTIONS 1. How much is the investment? 2. How long we need to be compost? 3. Can we done by using other material? 4. How is the effect on plant? 5. What is the nutrient value? 6. How much you can sell it?, Any buyer?

OUR PRODUCT  NPK= 2:1:3  Consistent qualities  Final product rich in beneficial microbes (N-fixing, P- solubilizing) OUR TECHNOLOGY  Accelerated composting- within 30 days  No need Effective microbes to accelerate process  Required less area  Available for any wastes

BASIC INFO COMPOSTING  Composting is the sustainable and economical option for organic wastes management – it stabilize the organic material to restore soil fertility  Benefits of composting :  Soil conditioning  Improved organic handling  Lower risk of pollution  Reduce pathogen destruction  Disease suppression  Alternative bedding material

COMPOST MATURITY AND STABILITY  Definition  Compost Maturity : Degree of phytotoxic organic substrances decompositiion with weed and pathogen free  Compost Stability : Degree of degradation and transformation of organic material due to microbial activities  How to determine Compost Maturity ?  Drop in composting temperature  Degree of self heating capacity and oxygen consumption rate  Organic matter and nutrients content  C/N ratio (Tiquia et al., 2002)  How to determine Compost Stability ?  Bioavailability of the organic material (Said-Pullicino and Gigliotti, 2007)  Appling immature compost (Daniel and Adetumbi, 2006)  Inhibit seed germination  Reduce plant growth (Nitrogen starvation)  Damage to the plant (oxygen competing or insufficient of degradable organic material)
