 National and local governments’ economic strategies - key issues  Sustainable development; climate change.  Impact on current & future legislation.  Urgent need for local focal point in Luton.  Need to encourage sustainable enterprises & communities.  Need to support established enterprises to adopt sustainable best practice / meet legislation. CoST

 10 year plan promoting environmental sustainability.  Environmental research / projects with LA’s, community, businesses & University.
