Our Future The vision of the Auburn University College of Engineering is to move into the top tier of engineering programs. The short-term goal is to position the college to move into the top 20 ranking by 2008.

An hallmark of a distinguished program is the ability to attract the best and brightest students. As we embrace a bold vision to become one of the top engineering programs, we must build scholarship and fellowship endowments that enable us to compete for the nation’s top undergraduate and graduate students. Scholarship and Fellowship Goals Goal: Establish $40m in scholarship and fellowship support

Professorships needed to Achieve Benchmarks: 4 NAE Level at minimum of $6M each 6 Eminent Scholar Chairs at min. of $2M each 8 Endowed Faculty Chairs at min. of $1M each 20 Distinguished Prof. at min. of $300K each Professorships Goals Purpose: To attract and retain leading expertise in instruction & research Goal: Establish $50m in faculty support
