Closing Procedures with Loomis Adjusting closing deposit to concur with Loomis deposit

Cash count Unit The Cash counter Unit report is where the closing cash enters total of funds in the particular register (this amount includes the till).

Entering denominations Count and enter all funds in closing cashiers register. (Including the register till amount) *Not including the $ till, the actual deposit for this register would be $ **In order to deposit into Loomis, deposit MUST be rounded to the nearest whole dollar. Notice: Pennies: 45 Nickels: 31 Dimes: 62 Quarters: 26

Rounding Deposit Using leftover change from previous closing register, add to current deposit to make nearest dollar if possible. If unable to round up to dollar, remove Current change to add to next closing register. Notice new change denomination Pennies: 45 Nickels:32 Dimes: 62 Quarters: 31 $1.30 addition to deposit

Drawer Reconciliation When final drawer reconciliation, the amount reconciled should reflect new amount with additional change to round up or round down to the nearest dollar. **Always expect overage or shortage. **This is expected.

Drawer Reading Report The Drawer Reading Report should reflect the same as your ending cash count unit. **The cash TRX amt AND cash OVER/SHORT should be the ACTUAL amount deposited into Loomis. $ $1.30 = $31.00

End of day Report
