 We will be learning how to count coins  Quarters  Dimes  Nickels  Pennies  Use a decimal point for coins (.)  Use a dollar sign for bills (4)

 Quarters are worth 25 cents Each quarter adds 25 cents. These six quarters would equal….25 +.25.25.25= \$1.50

 Dimes are worth 10 cents To add dimes count by ten. Ten dimes are worth \$1.00.

 Nickels are worth 5 cents When counting nickels, count by five. Twenty nickels equals \$1.00.

 Pennies are worth 1 cent Pennies simply add one. 100 pennies equal \$1.00

 4 Quarters  10 dimes  20 nickels  100 pennies

 Quarters .25,.50,.75, 1.00  Dimes .10,.20,.30,.40,.50,.60,.70,.80,.90,.100  Nickels .5,.10,.15,.20,.25,.30,.35,.40,.45,.50,.55,.60,.65,.70,.75,.80,.85,.90,.95, 1.00

 On a sheet of paper practice with each coin and make.50 cents
