Identifying Coins Pennies, Nickels, Dimes, and Quarters

Penny A penny is worth 1 cent. We count pennies by counting by 1. (1,2,3,4,5,6,…)

How many cents do I have?

Nickel A nickel is worth 5 cents. When we count nickels, we count by 5’s. (5,10,15,20,…)

How many cents do I have?

Dime A dime is worth 10 cents. When we count dimes, we count by 10’s. (10, 20, 30, 40, …)

How much money do I have?

Quarter A quarter is worth 25 cents. When we count quarters, we count by 25’s. (25, 50, 75, 100)

How much money do I have?
