"The Strategic Planning for Autism in Europe: Past, Present and Perspectives". COUNTRYFACT France  Packing (wet sheets from refrigerator)  Predominance of psychoanalytical model (confusion in diagnosis, mistrusting attitude toward parents, inefficient costly therapeutic measures, no progress) Croatia  Early intervention programmes started only 4 years ago  Only small number of people with ASD are integrated in regular schools with support  Some people with ASD are in institutions for people with MR  Only residential care for 12 adults in the whole country (parent’s association created)  People are still in schools after the age of 21 years because there is no adult care  Autism doesn’t exist in the legislative Ministry of Health (only in Education)

"The Strategic Planning for Autism in Europe: Past, Present and Perspectives". Estonia No ADOS-G Only since 2006, special support to ASD children in education and only in larger cities No manuals on teaching children with Autism Slovenia First Centre for Autism in 2005 (parents received no support at that time) Latvia First diagnosis in 2006 (before then only MR, Schizophrenia) No special program for ASD in special schools, not well categorized in schools yet (mental delay group).
