Race Discrimination in the Workplace By: James Phanouvong

What is it? Race discrimination has been an issue in society and the workplace until acts and laws were mandated to keep this issue in control. In 1976, The Race relations act was created to make it unlawful for employers to discriminate on racial backgrounds. Race discrimination can prevent a person from a job opportunity due to their background or color.

Asian Stakeholders Race Discrimination in the Workplace Hispanic Religious people People with Disabilities Criminal History Sexual orientation People of other minorities Families Gender African-Americans

Census Data

People of minorities are under the Rights ethical principle because they are concerned with their rights in the workplace. Employers would be under the principle of universalism because it is more of a duty to them to keep racial discrimination out of the workplace. The government would be under the Justice principle because they make the laws to prevent such issues as racial discrimination in the workplace. Ethical Reasoning Principles
