 Category A – Debris Removal  Category B – Emergency Protection Measures  Category C – Permanent Repairs  FEMA will not reimburse if another agency will cover  FHWA – Federal Aid System (FAS)  USDA/NRCS

 On FAS Routes Only  Listing of FAS Routes can be found on Planning’s Website.  Statewide Damages Must Exceed $700,000  Will Reimburse 100% for the first 180 days  80% after 180 days.  Includes regular and overtime labor  Must have DDIR, photo of site with County, route, milepoint, and date  Minimum of $5000 in damage.

 Will reimburse for debris removal and repairs in or around streams and bridges.  Reimburse 100%, any Road System.  Stream Bank Stabilization Projects  Not for Embankment failures

 Photos with pertinent information  County, Route, Milepoint, Date, etc.  Charged properly in OMS  Object Code  Labor and Equipment  No such thing as too much documentation!
