FLIGHT FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR CHARTER PILOT MILITARY PILOT AIRLINE PILOT

What Is The Outlook For Aviation? Airline Deregulation has resulted in more airlines operating more airplanes to more places. Corporate aviation expanding thru “fractional ownership” Each new commercial aircraft supports 6 to 7 crews Military Experience no longer required (but helpful in gaining experience). Military cutbacks result in fewer trained pilots, the majority of new pilots are now civilian trained Mandatory retirement is 65 years old Being “paid to fly” starts with becoming an Instructor (CFI) and increases thereafter with experience and higher ratings. The Big Secret: Most pilots say they would “do it for free!”
