Volume Volume is defined as the amount of space that a 3-Dimensional figure encloses.
Volume Volume is the number of cubes it takes to fill a space. Example – The Volume of the following 3-Dimensional space is 3 cubic units
Exploring the Volume Volume is the product of length, width and height. Volume of the given figure is length x width x height length Width height
Model to find Volume Step 1: Count the cubic units in the shape. Step 2: The number of cubic units in the rectangular prism is the volume.
Find the Volume of the rectangular prism given below. Answer- 10 cubic units
Find the Volume of a box that is 4 units long, 2 units wide and 2 units high. Solution – Volume of the box is length x width x height = 4 x 2 x 2 = 16 cubic units
