High Falls High Falls is one of our favorite hikes at Blooming Grove. It’s a beautiful hike, and if the weather/water-level permits, jumping off of the falls is quite the exhilarating experience. For those unable to make the hike, the falls are also accessible by vehicle. When guests check-in, we’ll provide hiking/driving directions for those interested in checking out the falls. Beaver Lake Beaver Lake is a beautiful spot and definitely worth your time if you’d like to enjoy some Pennsylvanian serenity. Row boats are available. Although some of us have jumped into this lake in years past, unless you enjoy swimming with snapping turtles, Lake Beaver (unlike Lake Giles) isn’t a great place for swimming! Clubhouse Area As you enter the club and “bear” left on Clubhouse Road, you’ll arrive at the clubhouse, which will be the hub of all of our activities throughout the weekend. Guests will check-in at the clubhouse, and Saturday’s light lunch and Sunday’s brunch will take place there. Our cocktail hour will take place at the red barn adjacent to the clubhouse, and Sunday’s softball game will be in the large field. Wedding Reception Our Wedding Reception will take place in our parents’ backyard – about ¼ mile walk from the clubhouse area. After our cocktail hour, guests will “parade” from the red barn to the house (transportation will be also be provided). Lake Giles Our rehearsal dinner will take place Friday night at the Lake Giles boat house. Throughout the weekend, guests can enjoy this beautiful, crystal clear body of water.
