Next Content Area: Mathematics Grade Level: Kindergarten Summary: The purpose of this instructional PowerPoint is to give students the opportunity to learn how to compare two numbers interactively. Learning Objective: Given two different groups of pictures, students will count the number of animals in each group and decide which group is bigger with 100 percent accuracy. Content Standard: CCSS.Math.Content.K.CC.C.6 Identify whether the number of objects in one group is greater than, less than, or equal to the number of objects in another group, e.g., by using matching and counting strategies. Now, let’s learn to compare… How many elephants do we have? How many turtles do we have? 1 1 2 3 2 4 Next

So.. Which do we have more of? Elephants Turtles Next
