The Danger of Anger James 1:19,20 This you know, my beloved brethren. But everyone must be quick to hear, slow to speak and slow to anger; for the anger of man does not achieve the righteousness of God. Genesis 4:6,7 Then the Lord said to Cain, “Why are you angry? And why has your countenance fallen? If you do well, will not your countenance be lifted up? And if you do not do well, sin is crouching at the door; and its desire is for you, but you must master it.” Ephesians 4:26,27 Be angry, and yet do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger, and do not give the devil an opportunity.
