Why would we do this? Expand your wardrobes by repairing, redesigning, and recycling garments. Alter garments to improve their fit. Restyle and update garments to better fit your wardrobe needs.

Repairing Clothes Patching - is the technique of sewing a small piece of fabric over a hole in a garment. Fixing closures: buttons, zippers Pulled seams Altering length

Average Cost for Mending & Alterations Shorten trousers--$7.00/pair adults $4.00/pair children's Let down hem/lengthen garment--trousers priced same as above. Narrow skirt $8.00, full skirt $3.00 per foot of hem. Shorten sleeves--$15.00/shirt with cuffs & button plackets. $5.00/shirt without cuffs. Replace buttons $1.00 per button. If buttons are lost entirely, the cost of new buttons should be added. Tear in seamline--$1.00/inch.
