Are You Ready?

There’s a Great Day Coming Hebrews 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: 1 Thessalonians 5:2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. What if the Lord were to come right now? Would you know for sure, nothing doubting, that you would go to heaven?

We Can Know 1 John 5:13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

What Is Written John 8:24 I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins. This is a life or death statement!

Who Does Jesus Say He Is? John 8:58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am. Exodus 3:4 And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you. Jesus says he is God!

What Does Jesus Do For Us? 1 Timothy 2:5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; He mediates (goes between us and God)

Why Do We Need A Mediator Isaiah 59:2 But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear. Our iniquities (sins) have separated us from God!

What Can Save Us? Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. The Gospel saves us!

Why Did Jesus Have To Do These Things? Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; We have a sin problem! Hebrews 9:22 ...and without shedding of blood is no remission. (forgiveness of sin) Ephesians 1:7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace; It is the only way for us to receive forgiveness!

The Gospel Saves By... Romans 5:10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. Reconciling us through the death of Jesus! Giving us life through his life!

Conclusion Do you know where you are going when you die? Have you obeyed the Gospel?(not because you have to but because you want to) Isaiah 55:6 Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: ARE YOU READY TO DIE?
