The mission of the Euro-Mediterranean Agora through the use social networking technologies is: to increase the knowledge-exchange among people in the MED region, to strengthen participatory democracy in relation to the societal challenges, to foster mass awareness on role in changing policy processes and outcomes. Euro-Mediterranean Agora’ (WP4) is a virtual internet-based platform of discussion on research and innovation is a “social hub” supporting social dialogue for knowledge-sharing initiatives at the regional- Mediterranean level. is a place that gathers ideas and experiences through the use of social media for being influential in the research and policy community by leveraging social capital.

The content covers the activities of the projects, other EU and non-EU- funded projects' activities, and valuable initiatives of civil society.

1st Euro-Mediterranean Brokerage Event on Research and Innovation Where: Cairo, February 2014 Who: – Young entrepreneurs/researchers from Europe and Mediterranean countries – MedSpring partners, particularly researcher institutions and research policy makers – Tech-driven enterprises, SMEs and other relevant private/public potential investors/networks – Others (research/networks organizations, etc.) Why: – To express interests and offers for cooperation and meet other Euro-Mediterranean innovation stakeholders – To get the latest information on H2020 funding opportunities – To present innovative ideas to potential investors from EU-Med Countries. 11
