Confidential Irish Traveller Movement Who are the Irish Traveller Movement? ITM was founded in 1990 to provide a representative platform for Travellers and Traveller groups at a National level. The purpose of the organisation: to develop policies to promote equality for Travellers in Irish Society. Our main objective: to promote the recognition of Travellers as a nomadic ethnic group that have their own distinctive culture and lifestyle.
