Spanish Adjectives Challenge 2015 Keep calm and use correct grammar Fronteras Spanish Immersion School

Spanish Adjectives Challenge When: January 30 Time: 12:00 pm Where: Multipurpose Room Grades: 4,5& Middle School. To qualify to participate in the Spanish adjective challenge the student should have participated in and won preliminary challenge at his/ her own class.

Spanish Adjectives Challenge Guidelines In order for the participant student earn a point and continue in the challenge has to follow three steps: 1.Announcer will say the adjective in English. 2.Student will translate the adjective to Spanish according to the list. 3.Student will say a complete sentence using the adjective and proper Spanish grammar.

Spanish Adjectives Challenge Judges Judges will uphold the rules and determinate whether or not the adjective is correct. The judges are in full control of the competition. Their decision is final, except in case of a serious error. In such a case, the Pronouncer will intervene and along with the judges will make a final decision. Judges Judges will disqualify a student from the competition who: Engages in inappropriate conduct; Alters the words from those first uttered in the process of retracing.

Spanish Adjectives Challenge Rules a.The student must face the judges and utter each word distinctly and with sufficient volume to be understood by the judges. a)The student must translate the adjective to Spanish before say the sentence. b)The sentence must be complete and make completely sense in Spanish. Prizes 1. first place earns a Mexican bracelet and two Mexican surprises. 2. Second place earns a Mexican bracelet and a Mexican keychain. 3. Third place earns a Mexican bracelet and a Mexican artesian.
