Presentation on the topic: "The unique places of our planet"

In my presentation I will talk about a few places, which in my opinion are the most unusual and interesting. First place – «Gates of Hell» Second place – «Salar de Uyuni»

"Gates of Hell" This is the "Wonder of the World" is located in Turkmenistan, in a place called Darwaz, which translated means "the door or gate." Darwaz - a burning crater depth of 20 meters and a diameter of 60 m Just imagine, around a sandy desert, and suddenly you can see the sands of eternal crater from which sees ominous bright flame height of 10-15 meters. Locals call this place "Gates of Hell." If somewhere in the world and there are gates to the underworld, they are found in Darwaz.

«Salar de Uyuni» They say that the boundary of heaven and earth - salt lake Salar de Uyuni. It is near the small village Niaoyouni in southwestern Bolivia, at an altitude of 3650 meters above sea level. This is the largest salt lake in the world, stretching from east to west 250 km, and from north to south 100 km. The inner part is covered with a layer of salt 2-8 m thick During the rainy season the marsh covered with a thin layer of water and turns into the world's largest mirror, and if you walk in the clouds ...

Threat of extinction. Reasons. The main threat to the "Gates of Hell" and "Salar de Uyuni" are people, they pollute the planet . Man ceases to appreciate nature and beauty, from time to time he does not notice how he destroys the world. The plant, nuclear power plants, municipal waste, all this has a negative impact on the world around us.

What you need to do to preserve nature? To preserve our nature with all its attractions, you need at least throw rubbish in the bin, and in the best case, go to the organic fuel and abandon nuclear energy
