Someone hurting someone else’s feelings with a computer? Someone saying mean things to someone else on the computer? Cyber Bullying is when a child embarrasses, threatens or hurts another child’s feelings online.

W HY WOULD YOU CYBER BULLY SOMEONE ? You are mad at them. You think it would be funny to embarrass someone on the internet. You want them to feel sad and angry. You are bored. You want to get back at them for something they did to you.

W HAT CAN YOU DO TO HELP ? Being mean to people is not funny. You must always think of what you are doing before you do it, because you cannot take it back. Do not use the internet when you are mad at someone. Anything that happens on the internet is always there, just because you can’t see it, does not mean it is gone. Feelings are important, you must RESPECT other people’s feelings.
