HADITH

Hadith "When two Muslims are engaged in a combat against each other with their sword's and one is killed, both are doomed to Hell". I said, "O Messenger of Allah! As to the one who kills, it is understandable, but why the slain one?" He (PBUH) replied: "He was eager to kill his opponent". Abu Bakrah Ath-Thaqafi (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Prophet (PBUH) said: [Al-Bukhari and Muslim]. Source: Riyadh us Saaliheen 4-9

Here again, the intention counts. Even though the person was killed but his intention made him go to hell.

AL QURAN Surah Quraish

1-2 لِإِيلاَفِقُرَيْشٍ (1) For the safety (of) the Quraish – إِيلاَفِهِمْرِحْلَةَ الشِّتَآ ءِ وَالصَّيْفِ (2) Their safety in (the) journeys (of) winter and summer –

رِحْلَة سَعيدَة Happy Journey During الشِّتَآءِ to south (Yemen) because it is hotter Map of Arabia During صَيف to north (syria, Jordan etc) because it is cooler.

How to remember شِتَاء شِتَاء : shi… shi… Shivering (cold) The other is صَيف (the summer)

3 فَلْيَعْبُدُوارَبَّهٰذَاالْبَيْتِ (3) So let them worship (the) Lord (of) thisHouse,

فَلْيَعْبُدُواعِبَادَة worship

Let them worship … meaning… They should worshipفَلْيَعْبُدُوا فَ + لِيَعْبُدُوا so

3 فَلْيَعْبُدُوارَبَّهٰذَا الْبَيْتِ (3) So let them worship (the) Lord (of) this House, Allah has blessed us too with safe travels and provided us with a means of livelihood. 4 الَّذِيأَطْعَمَهُم مِّن جُوعٍ Who(has) fed themagainst hunger وَّا ٰمَنَهُم مِّنْ خَوْفٍ (4) and gave them security from fear.

أَمْن security Security and fear آمَنَ Gave security

Remember the meanings by contrasting conditions وَّا ٰمَنَهُممِّنْ خَوْفٍ ( 4) and gave them securityfrom fear. Allah has given us too the security from fear. Mu`adh (bin Jabal) (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Messenger of Allah (PBUH) held my hand and said, "O Mu`adh, By Allah, I love you and advise you not to miss supplicating after every Salat (prayer) saying: اللَّهُم أَعِنِّي على ذِكْرِكَ وَشُكْرِكَ ، وحُسنِ عِبَادتِك [Abu Dawud and An-Nasa'i].

Let us learn it (3 times) اللَّهُم أَعِنِّي على ذِكْرِكَ وَشُكْرِكَ ، وحُسنِ عِبَادتِك O Allah, help me remember You, remember You, expressing gratitude to You and worship You in the best manner)".

We have to understand Qur’an… If we want to bring it into our day-to-day lives. That involves 4 simple steps. But understanding it is the core of them all.

Ask !!!
