2012 Shift Change Schedules REVISED for new contract language

New Shift Change Mutual Agreement The parties agree that the following additional provisions will occur relative to the administration of the Shift Preference processes outlined in Article 4, Section 16 of the Collective Bargaining Agreement and Mutual Agreement 38. Once submitted, shift changes may not be cancelled or revoked by the employee. The parties agree that there shall be no prohibition to move employees across shift lines within the 30 day period prior to the effective date of the shift change. Shift changes occurring within the 60 days following the effective date of the shift change outlined in Art 4, Section 16 will be offered, in seniority order to the employees having submitted timely shift change requests for shift change outlined in Article 4, Section 16. These employees will have the option to accept or reject the subsequent offer of shift move. Once shift change offers have been extended to all parties having submitted a timely shift change request, if shift changes are still required, the Company may move employees on a Company move in accordance with Art 4, Section 16. Shift changes under Art 4, Section 16-g (the 3 rd quarter plant wide) shall not result in the movement of more than 20% in a classification per department per shift; however, at least one person will be permitted to move on the shift change, if applicable.
