National Licensing Conference 2004 Hosted by Alcohol Focus Scotland Who should attend? Anyone with an interest in alcohol and licensing issues: licensing board members, licensing board clerks, police, licensed trade, private practice licensing solicitors and the alcohol action teams What will be covered? The conference will look at the key points of the proposed changes to the licensing system following from the Nicholson Report and the recent consultation on the Licensing (Scotland) Bill. Speakers from a range of perspectives, police, licensing board, licensed trade etc will put forward their views. The conference will also offer an excellent networking opportunity to meet members from other boards and others in the field. Specialist workshops will give an opportunity for discussion on ‘grey’ areas. Indicate on your booking form your preference for two from: overprovision, operating plans, licensing forums and training for casual staff. Where and When?
